Missing the Beach - Lincoln City

This past summer we traveled home to Oregon to celebrate Michael's third birthday at the beach. We had such a wonderful time, and I often remember the sensation of being relaxed and surrounded by family. Here are a few photos from our first day at the beach.

I like his little pirate face!

Uh oh, what did they find? I sense they're up to no good!

That look on his face cracks me up!

While it was in the high 60's, we Arizonans consider that cold!
Poor Mikey fell in and was shivering.

Hello 2017!

Our little family of three began 2017 with a flu bug! Hoping this isn't a preview of what's in store!

I stumbled across my blog the other night and had a great idea to join the blogging world again! I must be crazy, as between taking an accelerated BSN course, working full time, being a mommy to a devil child (will fill you in later), and trying to maintain somewhat of a clean house. I truly have no free time at the moment. My life has been hectic since May of 2016! On the bright side, I'll finish my BSN in 6 glorious months! I ever so dearly miss sewing, crafting, quilting, and enjoying family time without the constant thought of having to write a paper!

I suppose I should get ready for bed, I've got a date with my best friend to see 50 Shades Darker tomorrow at 1015 am!

Hello to you!

My oh my, it's been close to a year since my last post! I've been ever so busy between mom life, wifey duties, working & attempting to play in my craft room! A lot has changed over the past year! I was promoted at work, promoted at home (mommy of the year, just kidding), celebrated Mikey's second birthday, took our annual weekend trip to Bisbee, AZ & Adam & I enjoyed a night stay @ Starr Pass Resort celebrating our five year wedding anniversary!

I recently had the difficult choice of putting my fur baby Boobers down as old age had taken a toll on him. I suspect he likely had a thyroid issue as he rapidly lost weight over a six month period. He then looked at me this past Sunday & I could tell that his little soul was not content nor comfortable. A wonderful traveling vet was recommended which I decided suited our needs rather than removing Boo from his comfort zone & home. While I know this was the best decision it has been so difficult coping with the loss of my fur baby of almost 16 years.

Well, it's time for me to hit the hay as I'm ever so tired from being up at a very early time thanks to Mikey!

Our Trip Home~

Adam, Michael & I took a trip home to visit family in early December. We had such a wonderful time & found it difficult saying goodbye! We traveled to Lincoln City & stayed in an amazingly beautiful beach house.

Thank God for children's Benadryl!
