Weekly Check In~

Hi all!

I am happy to announce that I have 15 days remaining until I become a BSN RN! Since I completed my final paper three weeks prior to it's due date, I've got a bit of free time on my hands! I've been busy catching up on family time!

Since I will have an abundance of spare time, I've been busy concocting new paint colors for around the house. I've got so many ideas!

Below are the new kitchen colors!
I don't have a plan yet for the colors below, but am excited to find something to paint!

The colors above will be going into Adam's office, yet he doesn't know quite yet. I'll likely do this when Adam's at work!

We went out to dinner @ BJ's this past week as they were giving a free pizzokie with any purchase of $10 or more! We had a great time, and Mikey did so well! We've had difficulties with this in the past as Mikey has been a royal pain in the booty! He kept scooting closer and closer to Adam, taking over his personal bubble!

When I picked Michael up from school the other day, he had such a precious little look on his face. He was so excited to give me this sweet little bracelet that he made for me! This is a little gem that I will keep forever as it's more precious to me than diamonds!

Mikey was reading his pup Otto a bedtime story about how dinosaurs get ready for bed. With these two on our bed, it makes our queen size look like a twin sized bed!

We're going to have a sleep over tonight with Michaels best buddy, as Mikey calls him. I am so excited, as I've not had time to do this due to school! I'm looking forward to waking up and make pancakes, eggs, sausage, and a platter of fresh fruit!

I have gained so much weight, which can be a combination of increased stress this year, my sedentary life style related to school and work, school, and I recently found out that my thyroid gland is not properly working! Now that I'm close to finishing school, it's time to get back into the best health that I can! I'm restarting the 21 day fix, which is a diet that focuses on high protein, low carbs, and portion control. I also went to a local weight loss clinic and started taking phentermine, which is an appetite suppressant. Each little pill comes packed with lots of energy! Where has this been these past 14 months of school? You guys, I can't wait to be on top again!

I'd better get up and start cleaning our casa! It's been a while since I've been able to do a deep clean, and let me tell you, I'm ready to purge! Besides, it will make our move easier!

Hope you all have a great day!

P.S. I'm too lazy to proof read, sorry for any mistakes!

Lucky Number 7?

Wow, where has the time gone? Today is our seventh wedding anniversary!

We have experienced such an ebb and flow this year, and have learned a lot! Here's to many more!

Our First Monsoon Storm!

The East side had it's first monsoon storm yesterday, and it lasted all night! It was glorious and beautiful, and left me reminiscing about the monsoon storms we enjoyed when Michael was an infant. Prior to Michael's birth, I dreamed of cuddling in the rocking chair in his room while enjoying the storms, which I will forever cherish!

While enjoying the storm last night, I perused "storms" on Pintrest and found the below photo. Which, is in Lincoln City, Oregon, where we stay at the most amazing beach house.

Mikey was enjoying the storm in my ever so messy craft room.

On another note, I'm either coming down with something or I'm experiencing some nasty side effects to being on estrogen! I don't have time to be sick as I'm writing my final, yet very large paper! Who knew that at 36, I'd be ready for a total hysterectomy as a result of endometriosis. I have a second opinion with a fabulous GYN regarding beginning Lupron, which is technically considered a chemo drug, yet in low doses can mitigate Aunt Flow. The first GYN that I saw was an old school male who had a poor bedside manner. Forget you old man!

A Bit of Randmoness~

Good morning all and happy Saturday! I just woke up and am enjoying my first cup of coffee, which is always a favorite way to spend the morning.

Today I'm posting a bit of randomness, a few photos from recent.

I'd better get working on my paper that's due tomorrow as Mikey's at my parents house for a few more hours. The house is quiet, yet lonesome, but this is the best time to work on homework!

I am in love with Michael's rendition of Adam & I. This is Adam~

This is me. I wonder what the markings to the right are?

I've created a tradition of a photo of M & I near our front door each 4th of July. I plan to keep this tradition going, and will miss our front door when we move to Colorado! Perhaps I'll change out the front door & take the current one with us as a future photo backdrop.

The two loves of my life. I don't know where I'd be without either!

My Little Graduation Gift~

I decided to purchase a little graduation gift for myself, and couldn't pass up a great sale! It's fitting as I bought my first Coach purse upon graduating from nursing school!

We Have A Lot To Catch Up On!

                                                           Happy Fourth of July ya'll!

My house is an absolute pigsty, which I should be cleaning, yet I find myself here blogging. I suppose the mess isn't going anywhere, therefore I can blog first!

I've got so much to catch you up on! We've had an ever so busy week as we celebrated our babies FOURTH birthday! Adam had to work on M's bday, so we went to the fire station for dinner and cupcakes! Michael had his four year well child check on his birthday (mean mommy award goes to me), he received his two vaccines and did wonderfully until we made it to the car. He held his left arm out to the side and began repeating, "We're never going here again mommy! My arm hurts!" Poor little fella! He's off the chart for height, as always. He's perfectly proportioned weight wise, which is no surprise.

Awaiting Michael's amazing pediatrician for his well child check. After his appointment, we had an ice cream date with his T Rex from Aunt Karen & Uncle Charlie.

Michael loves the popcorn @ his daddies fire station. He loves it so much he wanted a photo with it sticking to his tongue!

First night as a four year old!

Both Adam & I had this past Friday off and took Mikey for his six month dental checkup. He was a bit of a pill as he was overly tired. After the dentist, we went to the movies and watched Despicable Me 3! It was so cute. Mikey spent half of the movie cuddled up on my lap, which I cherished every moment!

We had a small little shin dig @ my parents casa on Sunday for Mikey's birthday. We had fun in the sun and played in the pool, followed by opening gifts, eating great food all thanks to my parents, followed by cupcakes and two very tired boys (both Mikey & his bestie Ty, who didn't have time for a nap.) Mikey requested a dino whore (that's how he pronounces it) themed birthday, and that's what our baby got!

That's the Burro fire in Reddington's Pass.

Bedtime was spent by spooning WaWa (also known as Walter).

I've decided to throw a theme into Michael & Adam's bathroom, and this is it! :)

I couldn't resist throwing this hilarious joke in!

This is one of the three fires that Adam had yesterday. This was a two story (go figure) apartment fire. He's on the roof, which I hate...

I believe that's it for now! I suppose I'd better get busy with cleaning, put Mikey down for a nap, and begin my darn paper that's due this Sunday... Only 1 month, 1 day, 22 hours, 46 mins, & 02 seconds until I'm done with school!

P.S. I'm too lazy to proof read this post, so don't mind any errors!
