Our First Monsoon Storm!

The East side had it's first monsoon storm yesterday, and it lasted all night! It was glorious and beautiful, and left me reminiscing about the monsoon storms we enjoyed when Michael was an infant. Prior to Michael's birth, I dreamed of cuddling in the rocking chair in his room while enjoying the storms, which I will forever cherish!

While enjoying the storm last night, I perused "storms" on Pintrest and found the below photo. Which, is in Lincoln City, Oregon, where we stay at the most amazing beach house.

Mikey was enjoying the storm in my ever so messy craft room.

On another note, I'm either coming down with something or I'm experiencing some nasty side effects to being on estrogen! I don't have time to be sick as I'm writing my final, yet very large paper! Who knew that at 36, I'd be ready for a total hysterectomy as a result of endometriosis. I have a second opinion with a fabulous GYN regarding beginning Lupron, which is technically considered a chemo drug, yet in low doses can mitigate Aunt Flow. The first GYN that I saw was an old school male who had a poor bedside manner. Forget you old man!
