Breastfeeding...

I have come to the conclusion that my journey with breastfeeding MUST come to an end! Michael has decided that it seems to be fun to jerk his head every which way while still attached to my boob. He has also learned to bite down (very hard might I add), this just isn't worth the pain. While I won't breastfeed, I will continue to pump and feed him my breast milk via a bottle. I feel that it's of utmost importance to maintain this until he is at least 6 months. There are multiple studies that show babies who are breast fed until they are 6 months have lower rates of getting sick and becoming obese.

I was browsing on Facebook and came across this and had to share it!

It's that time of year again!

Around this time every year I fall in love with reading holiday novels. One of my favorite authors is Mary Kay Andrews, she recently debuted a sequel to her first book Blue Christmas. I was searching my Kindle book store Friday night and was alarmed to see that the book was a mere $1.40! On sale from $15.99, was this a cruel joke? No, it truly was on sale for $1.40! I've been in holiday reading heaven this weekend!

Michael's first Halloween~

I worked a day shift on Halloween and Adam was able to take a vacation for the day as he was scheduled to work. We surprised my mom & dad by showing up unannounced at their house so Michael's first "trick or treat" was memorable. Here are a few photos~

On our way to Grandmas door~

Michael's first rice cereal~

Today Michael had his first serving of rice cereal and seemed to enjoy it! He made a huge mess and I'm grateful that he had a bib on.
