Coffee Cross Stitch~
My coffee cross stitch project arrive to my mom-in-law in once piece (I have a way of items breaking en- route). Here's the photo of where she hung it~ I love it!
My return to work~
My return to work this week was not an easy feat! I had computer training on Monday & Tuesday from 0700 (that's unbelievably too early) until 1200. As seen in my prior blog it was a tearful Monday morning, however Tuesday was a cinch! Wednesday arrived and I cried all over again! After 3-4 hours of work I was exhausted and wanted to be home with my boys. Thursday was an easy day both at work and emotionally for me, no tears! I have a four day weekend and am so excited to be with my little family (of all boys).
Since returning to work I have found that I appreciate my time with Michael so much more! I cherish the moments with him and find myself holding him more. I am so in love with this little man, I genuinely had no idea that I had this type of love inside me.

I figured it out!
On my quest in becoming a stay at home mommy (yet continue to make the annual income that I currently make) I have stumbled upon my new career choice! Wait for it...... Wait for it.....
1) I'm going to become a happy drug seller (weed only, you come across crazies with other drugs).
2) I'll start a Starbucks out of our home & deliver.
3) I've always wanted to become a florist.
4) And finally, I'll scrap book for hire! If I become to busy with this I'll hire my cousin (Jenny) for cheap labor (I have to notify her of this).
Collectively between these four amazing job opportunities a steady income will be no problem!
Now all I have to do is quit my nursing career... JK... :(
On another note, I returned to work today for a mere 5 hours (same schedule tomorrow) and cried upon departing with my little Michael. While I know that I was leaving him in the best care (he stayed with his daddy), I just thought of the little things that I'm going to miss out on. I understand that time will help to heal my sadness, though it's simply hard at the moment. To make the situation a little easier Adam met me with flowers this morning (he worked yesterday). They helped put a huge smile on my face! Man I love him!
Michael had his 2 month check up with our pediatrician today. He weighs 11 lbs 4.58 ounces and is 23 inches! Our pediatrician (I think of her as a God) believes that he's going to be tall & skinny (Aunt Paula, you were right).
Here are a few photos~ life wouldn't be complete without them!

Cross stitching completed!
My first cross stitching project is completed, framed and all! To any of you who know my mom-in-law you know that she loves coffee! I can't blame her with taking care of two year old twin girls! I'm disappointed as there's a black mating that belongs under the green, however it was too bulky to fit in the frame that I purchased.

Bacon & egg toast cups~
By now you should all know that I'm a major Pintrest whore~ yes, I call it like it is! I found this amazing recipe on Pintrest & have to share it!
The recipe makes 6 toast cups, though I choose to make 9~
Ingredients:
6 slices of bread (I used country white)
6 slices of bacon
6 eggs
1/2 cup of shredded cheese
Salt & pepper
Preheat oven to 400 degrees, spray muffin pan with butter non-stick spray.
Using a cookie cutter, cut circles out of bread slices about 3 inches in diameter. I don't have cookie cutters this size so I used a drinking glass.
Place bread circles & press them into the muffin pan, set aside
Cook bacon on a skillet until partially cooked, yet still pliable (approx 3 minutes)
Shape bacon strips into the toast cups, fill with 1 Tbs of shredded cheese. Place in oven for 5 minutes, allowing the bacon to toast a wee bit more. Remove from oven.
Scramble eggs into a bowl & fill toast cup (I used a ladle). Sprinkle with salt & pepper & bake about 10-15 minutes until eggs are baked.
Remove from oven & enjoy!

My smorgasbord of goodies~
Rather than blogging each item separately I decided to make one generic post~
I purchased these baby milestone tummy stickers from Etsy! You stick them on babies tummy for his/her monthly milestones and can then peel them off to use in a scrapbook!
I told Adam that I wanted a necklace with the letter "M" to wear that will remind me of my little man~ My sweet husband purchased this for me~ what a sweet little gift!![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhLzPM_F2QXkt1rdQu3CPY_fjxr66Snn0DHHn4nZALDGywvWceV0R0qP6MccrRJ5WgMnB83ICvucnEIVfcOzpXJVZSTimTWm4t5QjuZxcG4SVqlJ273VdVBu1c1lZI7CEoyMXhT7ZAl_Bs/s400/1628320.xl.jpg)

Adam & I went on our first date post-baby last night. Michael's Nona & Nono (Grandma & Grandpa) watched him while we dined @ Zona 78 (my favorite little Italian restaurant).
I saw a commercial for Denny's pancakes the other night & couldn't stop thinking about how delicious they sounded. Since our Denny's is a little out of the way, we got IHop to go! I couldn't make up my mind on which I wanted so I chose double blueberry, cinnamon-bun & red velvet. Dinner was fantastic!
I finally completed my first cross stitch project! I made this for my mom-in-law & am working on framing it, will take a pic once it's 100% finished!
Adam's birthday gift from Michael~
I should have posted this earlier, perhaps it's the sleep deprivation that's affecting my recent memory lapses (yes, I meant that to be plural)! Michael & I framed this for his daddies first birthday gift~
Cross stitching designs~
I decided to search amazon & ebay for some new cross stitching patterns to see if I could find them at a cheaper cost. Here are the photos of my upcoming designs! I ended up paying $3.84 for one of them with free shipping! OMG, talk about excitement!

Soul searching...
The most amazing feeling washed over me while I was holding Michael and watching his facial expressions. There are times that he gazes into my eyes and it feels as though he's searching my soul. The best is when he smiles back and talks in his baby gibberish. No one could ever have described how spectacular motherhood is! I am so in love with my little man a d can't wait to watch him grow over the rest of my living years.
