I woke up with great energy, however it quickly disappeared after cleaning our casa. Sometimes I want a larger house, however when I'm cleaning, I often wish we had a smaller house! I've been writing a paper (that's due tomorrow) on colorectal cancer, which is near and dear to my heart as my grandpa had colon cancer. I received a few packages today, and have to share them!
How fitting, this is exactly how I feel as the weather took a turn to overcast. It's perfect, as I received this Pinot Noir Rose from my dear friend Chuck. What makes this even more wonderful, is that it's from Oregon!
Adam took Mikey to the Pima County Air & Space Museum so I could have a little peace and quiet to write my paper.
I received a few goodies that I ordered for my birthday! This book is one of the few goodies!
My mom-in-law has passed her love for pink flamingos onto me! I simply couldn't resist with Mark Kauffman's fabric!
I have had the dream of creating the below sock monkey blanket for Michael since I knew the day that I was going to be his mommy! My favorite on-line fabric store has the fabric, which I've decided to purchase slowly, as it's rather spendy and there's a lot of it!
I am instead going to make this quilt with the sock monkey fabric!
Some of my new sock monkey fabric! The sweater fabric is not from this line, however it was on clearance & I thought that it matches perfectly with the sock monkey theme!
